Round #12 - Challenge #2 - Voting

A skip has been used for crazycordy, setentpet, & stolenglimpse.

Rules:
- Vote for 2 icons of the least quality. Reasons such as 'I don't like' or 'It's too plain' are not allowed. Actually think about why you are voting out the icon. If the icon is too plain, why is that bad thing? What could have been done to improve the icon?
- Also vote for 1 icon that you feel is the best quality. The reason for this one is optional but encouraged.
- Please do not focus on the icon fitting the theme as your main reason for voting a icon out.
- Keep your icon identity hidden until after the results are posted. Do not vote for yourself or get anyone to vote for you.
- You do not have to be a participant to vote (the more the merrier!).
- Positive votes do not take away from the amount of negative votes. This will change in the event of a tie.
- One person will be eliminated as the result of the voting.
- The comments are screened.
- If you entered and do not vote then you will not be eligible for Community's Choice or Mod's Choice.

120. The image is very sharp in spots including Buffy's hair line & facial features. It could have looked better with either some contrast or using a blur tool.

2 least quality icons:
#6 - the image is really washed out, the texture / effect is distorting the image and it's too blurry on the sides
#5 - the icon is pretty creative but the execution is not great, it looks very pixilized, there is way too much contrast and the background is throwing off the balance of the icon. (having that transparent would make a world of difference)

2 least quality icons:
6 - I don't think the texture is doing the icon any favours; the icon looks a bit washed out with the opacity of the texture so low. With such pale colouring in the original cap, I'd be careful with the texture I choose and the overall colouring of the icon.
1 - The composition is very nice, but the lighting and shadowing seems to be on the wrong sides of Buffy's head. The cut is also very sharp which is also distracting from the lovely composition/colours. I'd suggest using a soft brush on a low opacity on the edges of your cut, or even refining the mask (if you use masks) to smoothen those edges and make it look a little more natural.

2 least quality icons:

#06 - the texture overpowers the subject, and there is very little contrast. I suggest adding contrast to her face to bring it out better.

#01 - This was a hard choice. I went with this icon because, at a closer look, there are color splotches on her face. I suggest smoothing those out with a small blur brush.

#05 - The idea is very unusual but everything about it is executed perfectly. It's definitely a very unusual icon, and I feel like rewarding the brave choice. The clean style of the card requires the cap to be modified a lot to fit, and you did it flawlessly. He looks like he was hand-drawn. Amazing.

#6 - I think I get what you were trying to do with the texture but it doesn't translate well here and washes the icon out and overtakes Willow.
#2 - The crop is nice with how it worked everyone in and has some extra sky but it looks overly sharpened on my screen, especially their clothing.

#1 - There's nothing that stands out about this icon, in terms of either colouring or crop. Some text or texture would have made it more memorable.
#6 - The image looks low quality / blurry, and the colours are very washed out. A more subtle blending with the light beams would have looked better.
